Our Client, a leader in Fast-Moving Consumable products is looking
for an Assistant Purchasing Manager to support the coordination of
local purchases relating to spare parts, marketing materials and
consumables as assigned by the Purchasing & Stores Manager.
Responsibilities:
Support the Purchasing & Stores Manager through efficient running of
the daily operation and administration of the Purchasing & Stores
Department.
Coordinate all shipping activities of spare parts, consumables,
merchandising materials, company stationery and uniforms with the
Shipping Officer.
Keep the MRP System S.A.P updated, with information regarding
suppliers, items, prices, and quantities, at all times.
Manage the ordering of spare part, consumables, merchandising
material, company stationery and uniforms.
Coordinate the implementation of the relevant S.A.P modules within
the Purchasing and Stores Department.
Generate reports for the Purchasing and Stores Manager to evaluate
and compare on a regular basis, usages, and sales trends to official
budgets, to adjust ordering schedules accordingly.
Requirements:
3 years minimum in a supply chain environment is an asset.
Driving License B.
Good computer skills (excel, word, outlook and PowerPoint).
Good communication skills (email, telephone).
Very good mathematical skills.
