    When working and/or living abroad, it is usually necessary to pay taxes in that country.

    Do you pay taxes in Andorra? What are the main types of taxes (direct and indirect taxes)? What is the tax rate? Do you consider taxes high, low, or fair?

    Is it necessary to report at certain times of the year in Andorra? Are taxes deducted at the source?

    Are there any dual tax agreements between Andorra and your country?

    I've been working with tax advisors in Andorra and I've found several interesting things that I would like to share.

    Andorra’s tax system is equitable and straightforward. As with any country, there are some nuances and details, but in a nutshell, Andorra’s tax rates are:
    • 10% on income for residents and companies,
    • no sales tax, but there is a 4.5% VAT,
    • there is no inheritance, estate, or transfer tax and no tax is paid on Andorran investment income.
