Hi, name is Luis, 28, and I'm back in Montreal after working a few years abroad to complete a university degree. Unfortunately that means starting over again. I'm looking to start some new friendships so I can better enjoy my stay in my own hometown after so many years... It's the start of summer and I really want to enjoy it with some good company. I speak English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Chinese so if you'd like to practice any of those, I'd love to help you out since I have several years experience teaching English and am studying languages in university myself. Ask me any questions you like, hopefully we can get a conversation started. Look forward to meeting you! My email is ponquenet at yahoo.ca

Greetings Everyone! I am new to the site...these are my very first minutes here. It seems a very interesting place to be therefore after exploring the site for a few days I've decided to join. We are moving to München the first days of this coming April. My man is German from Germany and I am an Italo-Dominico-American well traveled woman. We are coming from Zürich with my gorgeous 2.5 years old baby Virgola Maria. Virgola is a healthy, hot and free spirited Golden Chiwawa Mix. She is hot and she knows it! While my man has his job and I follow him whatever he goes, I've decided to give this an early start to avoid what happened to me in Zürich: 1. I did not make any friends, 2. Never went out to enjoy myself except when I did go out with my man or my dog, 3. Had to settle for "whatever job" as it was impossible to find the proper job due to lack of knowledge of German (ongoing learning) and because you find jobs in a new place specially if you know people and I do know anybody in Zurich)..... ....So here I am. I have many interests and aside from hoping to settle in the right way in this amazing city I have visited many times with my man, I hope to find and meet interesting people with whom lay down the foundation to eventually become friends. This Forum seems to have lots to offer and I am happy to be here, ready to discover new things, share ideas, give and receive suggestions and become a part of this my new Home, München-Bavaria! How exciting! Wish all a fantastic day! C.
