This was your original question ;)

If you have a permanent/indefinite leave in another country you should ask there. You can not loose it just like that.

At last i've got my C visit visa to Ireland. It took 2 months and while immigration low gets strongly strict portending the worse.
Bad things C visit visa cannot be prolonged, you cannot register with GNIB for multivisa, and you are treated as regular tourist.
Please share your experience and answer the questions.
    Have you succeeded in
    1. changing status from C visa to D visa inside Ireland?
    2. registering as EU spouse in GNIB for Immigration Certificate of Registration if you entered on C visit or D spouse visa befour applying EU 1 form?
    3. applying EU 1 Form for permission to remain in Ireland if you entered on C visit visa?
    4. if answer to question 3 is Yes, have you managed to obtain any documents to let you work/ reenter the State while waiting months? for decision to be or not to be granted a Residence Card (or Immigration Certificate of Registration which seem to be the same) without any document originals?
Note: the regulations changed much since April 2006

Please help! I cant call GNIB or DOJ in Ireland myself.

Do you travel with your spouse?
Does she intend to live/work in Ireland?
When you applied for a visa did you provide her documents as well?
What type of visa did you ask for?

    1. changing status from C visa to D visa inside Ireland?

I think you got wrong visa!

I just read on another forum that these new visas CAN NOT be changed, even thought your wife is EU national.

My spouse is working and living in Ireland, i've provided all the documents: payslips, EU citizen passport copy, marriage certificate etc. As i didn’t pay attention to differences between C and D visa types, in invitation letter we wrote that visit is the purpose. Since 3 months are gone and 1 air ticket is canceled i had some time to reconsider my plans and now wish to get residence permit with multivisa in Ireland. So now i understand "join spouse" was the right answer.

What about applying EU 1 form then?
If i have to reapply for D visa in ambassy i go completely mad
Could you give me a link plz PM

    Yep.

Check with DOJ in Ireland once you arrive.
I think you just got go back, but dont take my word 100%.
Your intention was to visit not to join, therefore wrong visa.
    D type and EU1 form then ;)
