I applied in January 2011
Received COA exactly 1 month after( Feb 2011)
Received Residence card May 2011..
Duration ; 119 Days (3 months, 29 days excluding the end date)

Application received by H O on 11th APR 2011;
COA recevied on 11th MAY 2011 ( dated 04th).

... Still waiting for the RC.

Any updates from others would be helpful in order to follow the trend of the time frame in delivering the RC. Thanx

Application received by HQ - 29/03/2011
COA received - 28/04/2011
EEA1 registration certificate received - 24/06/2011

Still awaiting EEA2 residence card - best of luck to everyone

I cant believe in this day and age it takes over a month for the passport to be delivered but all is well...............

hi malik brother can u please tell me whn u applied in start after how long u received any letter frm H.Office coz i applied for EEA1 n EEA2 both on 13 july its almost more than 2 months gone but dint got any thing from themm.
please i need some help frm those who got theirs succeessfully guide me pleaseee wid ur experience i ll be really thankfulll

 

Hi afridi,

I had to give them a call to get the certificate of application and then I got that after 2 weeks.

You will then get your eea1 passport within 3 months of your application.

However it takes nearly 5 months to get eea2 back.

Dont worry if the application is genuine you will get it before 6 months.

I just want to put my timeline in for my EEA2 application so that i can track the progress as well as others...

Application sent (tracked with Royal Mail): 21/9/11
Application received at HO: 22/9/11
Certificate of Application: 11/10/11

I will update every time that i receive anything from HO.

 

they take alot tim nowadays we sent application on 21 july still w8ing for certificate

13th July and you're still waiting for the certificate of application....
Isn't the certificate what you can use to show that you are eligible to work in the UK?
I hope mine doesnt take that long as i really need it to find myself a job.

 

i already have workk i hv a permanent job but yea they take very long nowadays we contacted them n they saiddd they ll inform us asap

Hi guys,

Just a quick update:

I received my COA on the 11th October and since then, i have not heard anything.
I keep checking the Royal Mail track and trace website just to see if they have sent anything back to me as that's the only way i can track if anything is happening.

I received another letter with the COA that states that i should not contact them regarding the application as it will slow down the process.

In Australia when your application is sent off, you can actually track it online and see what is happening with the application.

The wait is killing me!!!

 

6 months is the maximum. if you get no reply with 6 mths, then there's a reason for concern otherwise please wait for your card... Been thru this, done it all!

 

I want to find out the new processing time for EEA2 application I applied under the new immigration law ( careres of British citizens)
My son is British and I've sent an application to the home office for Idefinite leave to remain. It was refused at first and we were told that my son who is British could cope in my home country. We sent a letter of reconsideration and they replied to another solicitor. But now I applied under the new Zambrano case (eu) law.
Can someone tell me please how long this would take.

hi guys.. im new to this website but found it very helpful.. i would jus like to know that i am applying for a rc by eea2 application..
i have all the neccessary documents of my wife who is an eea national and exercising her treaty rights
just the confusion is in section 12 where they ask for proof of residency.. i have my wife and my bank statements for the past 3 months but we dont have any tennancy agreement of the place where we are living and neither do we have any utility bill on this place on our name.. i am living with my brother and everything is on his name.. so i dont know what to do ... plz its urgent can someone tell me what i should do..is bank statements enough?
