    Poland has a rich tradition in classic theatre and opera. Even if you don't speak Polish, you will always find something intriguing and worth seeing on the stage of capital's theatres.

    The biggest and best known theatres and operas in the city include:

    There are also many museums and art galleries in Warsaw. The city can offer its visitors around 30 museums many of them unique.

    The best known are Muzeum Narodowe (The National Museum, Warsaw http://www.mnw.art.pl) with over 780,000 items displayed in many permanent galleries, Centrum Sztuki Wspólczesnej (Centre for Contemporary Art) http://csw.art.pl and Galeria Zacheta (Zacheta National Gallery of Art http://www.zacheta.art.pl).

    While in the city you shouldn't also miss Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego The Warsaw Uprising Museum http://www.1944.pl), one of the best managed and interesting museum in the capital.
