If you are looking for a department store the three most famous are Myer, David Jones and Westfield. Below are some of their addresses in Sydney:

There are a lot of supermarkets in the city centre and these are generally open 7 days a week until very late in the evening (until midnight for some of them). The main famous names are:

They are often close to the train station and have parking spaces for people to drive there and then commute to work.
