To redirect your mail, go to the Post Office and ask for a form. It is a simple formality. The price varies according to how long you want your mail to be redirected (e.g. for 6 months, AUD$36). The redirection concerns only the sending of letters and packages up to 2 kg, including press and advertising.

The service for temporary residents is proposed for a duration of 15 days to 12 months.
