    Cinema

To search for movies that are playing in English, this is what you can do:

    1. Access www.wantedinrome.com
    2. Go under directory - cinemas. The site will list all the movie theatres that play movies in English.
    3. Once you know the movie theatre where you want to go, you can:
    • Go directly to the movie theatre website to check which films are playing in English.
    • Or, access the www.trovacinema.it website. In the "dove vuoi andare al cinema" area you should type in the "scegli la citta' oppure la provincia" the citta' (city) and in the "se cercare per film o per cinema" you will enter in the "oppure scegli un cinema" slot the name of the movie theatre where you want to go. The site will then list all the movies playing there, the times and the link to the theatre's website. Some theatres will allow you to buy the ticket online.

Note: Movies playing in theatres are listed in the last pages of Italian newspapers which you can access at bars or buy at a newspaper stand. When movies are in English, it will say in inglese (in English) next to the title, or VO (Versione original - original language - which is not always English.)
