I am now working in Toronto. I have been thinking of starting a restaurant franchise here. I have discussed this with a franchisor. I am not a Canadian citizen. So I don't have any idea about the legal procedure involved in it. Are there any difficulties for a foreigner to start a franchise business in Canada? Then I think it is better to consult some franchise law firms like Law Works Professional Corporation (http://www.lawworks.ca/).

    Hello,
Can you tell us more about it? What were you told? (otherwise, just putting the link with the law firm looks like disguised advertisement... :( )
