    Have you contemplated doing business or are you a business owner in Croatia ?

    Are foreign investors welcome? How hard is it to register and manage a company? What is the procedure to get started? Is it easy to recruit? What are the corporate tax rates in Croatia ?

    What advice would you give to other prospective business owners? What do you wish you had known before opening a business in Croatia ?

    Could anyone tell me the costs for building some apartments?

    In particular

    1. Location Permit costs
    Construction Permit costs

    2. Architect Fees and Charges

    3. Communal Taxes

    4. How much generally construction costs are. I heard in the region that construction companies usually charge about €400 per m2.

    The site is in Dubrovnik area, very close to the sea. Any indications would be helpful.

    I cannot tell you anything about construction in Croatia unfortunately. However I imagine that all prices will vary depending on what is exactly the plan (architect fees for refurbishment are different from decoration, or brand new building or old transformation).

    Maybe you should be more precise for anyone to help?
