    Hello!

What public transportation is available in India? Is it easy to move about the cities and country at large? What modes of transport are available: Bus? Underground/Subway? Trams? Trains?

Do you use public transportation in India? Can you recommend it? Is it safe, inexpensive, and reliable? What is your experience? How much is a basic fare? Is there a monthly card, or discount options?

Thank you for sharing your tips, questions and advice!

Your link relates about good transportations, not transports for people (trains, metro, taxis, etc). Therefore nothing to do with public transports either...

Well, not all cities of India have the same type of transportation. Like tier 1 cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore have Uber, Metro and local buses, and other small don't have these.
Auto Rickshaw & tourist cabs are the only transportation options which are available all over India.

It depends on the region. Some states in India have very good public transportation systems. But some are just the opposite.
