I went online to request a copy of my father's birth certificate. After filling out the form and you hit send, it says "Telechargement en cours"....no idea whether or not it went through...it is been like that for hours. I have an old copy and the consulate is telling me that they can't find it in their registry. Any clues or direction would be appreciated. I also obtained a copy of his french passport, the old birth Certificate issued by a judge and an old Carte d'indentite Nationale issued before 1977, in the old colony.

Please let me know if all of these documents are enough to request a French citizenship. And if so, what is my next step. Any direction is greatly appreciated.
