Hello -- my daughter, who just turned 21, moved to France with me from the US when she was 8 years old. She obtained her Bac in France and began studying at Sciences Po Paris two years ago. This year, she is abroad for her 3rd year. The problem is that she received her first Carte de Sejour about a year and a half ago, but she did not renew it before leaving the country for her 3rd year of school. So now, she no longer is a legal resident of France. What steps should she take to be able to move back to France to continue her degree and (hopefully) retain her status within the university system as a French student (meaning she doesn't have to pay fees)? I'm beyond worried about this. Thank you for any advice.
