They are mainly provided by colleges or universities and courses are quite cheap thanks to the financial support of the borough (often about £100-150/year). They usually register in September and in January for a second session. You can find information at the Town Hall, the Council Hall or the establishment itself. We strongly advise you to register early as places are limited (groups of 20-30 people) and especially for beginners level, demand can be high.

Food at 52 - Offers classes in a selection of regional cooking form Italian to Thai to Moroccan.
Computer workshop - The Apple Store on Regent Street hosts free one-hour workshops on everything from operating an iPod to making digital movies.
Knitting - The "I " club offers a hub for groups and events where knitters can share their enthusiasm and expertise.
