The official Swiss post office website is: http://www.poste.ch

Prices for a standard letter (20 g) are (year 2005):

Switzerland 1,00 CHF
Europe 1,20 CHF
Other countries 1,40 CHF

In order to send letters and parcels abroad (towards more than 200 countries), the Swiss postal service offers a service of international mail called URGENT (price here). You have the possibility to choose a type of sending PRIORITY or ECONOMY (for non-urgent mails).

When you move, you can ask the post to transfer your mail for 12 months to your new address, or to keep the mail at the post office. Those services are available from 15 CHF.
