In Madrid, cinema lovers will find a large choice with plenty of movies in Spanish or in its original version.

Cinema ticket prices for an adult are approximately about 9€; and 6€ for kids and students.
The city celebrates, once a year, "la fiesta del cine", together with the rest of the country. During that weekend in October, all tickets are sold for 2,90€.

Nightclubs in Madrid

Whether you are up for a nice cocktail, a pub-crawl tour or a dancing the night away, from Monday to Sunday you can party out until the early hours and end up eating chocolate con churros for breakfast.

Note that Madrileños like to start the night by gathering in a pub or two and later head to a club/discotheque for some dancing.  Pubs usually open around 11/12pm, and they stop serving at 3am (they close half an hour later).
