Mozambique's minimum monthly pension is M 3000.

To be eligible for an old age pension, an individual must meet the following criteria:

• Be 55 years old (women) or 60 years old (men)
• Have been in the system for over 20 years before requesting a pension
• Have completed 10 years (120 months) of contributions

There are also pensions available for disabled people and survivors.

A few countries have a bilateral agreement with Mozambique that allow for years worked in Mozambique to count to their State pension. Inquire with your state plan about the particulars.
