The official language of Dubai is Arabic, although English is widely spoken and is the language in which most international business is conducted. Any attempts that you make to learn to speak Arabic are, however, likely to be well received.

There are a number of organisations offering Arabic classes for both corporations and private individuals.

The Arabic Language Centre at the Dubai World Trade Centre offers courses at all levels, from beginner to advanced, including specialised courses aimed at employees working in particular industries (tourism, finance, medicine etc).
